With Oceangate Oil and Gas Engineering, led by Group CEO, Dr. Aisha Sulaiman Achimugu, securing a historic multibillion dollar deal with Global Petroleum Group to build one of the Caribbean’s largest oil and gas enterprises, Grenada is poised to become a major energy hub.
Through the development of Grenada’s substantial hydrocarbon reserves, this game-changing collaboration hopes to establish the island nation as a major energy hub in the Caribbean and beyond. This ambitious project, which aims to support sustainable development and long-term economic growth, promises to improve Grenada’s energy production capacities while also promoting technology transfer, infrastructural development, and job creation in the local economy.
The project is anticipated to offer previously unheard-of economic prospects, bringing benefits to many industries and establishing Grenada as a major energy supplier in the Caribbean against the backdrop of the region’s changing energy landscape.
According to Dr. Achimugu: “We are thrilled to enter this partnership with Global Petroleum Group, which will bring substantial economic benefits and energy resources to Grenada.”
Continuing, she pointed out that this project demonstrates Oceangate’s dedication to funding environmentally friendly energy solutions that promote economic growth. We think that this project will set the stage for future economic partnerships between the Caribbean and Africa.
