The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) of 9mobile has been named as Dorothy Tunde-Ajala, a reputable HR advisor, and a seasoned leader with more than 20 years of HR experience who is renowned for her ability to use strategic HR initiatives to achieve company transformation.

Tunde-Ajala’s hiring demonstrates 9mobile’s dedication to developing an inclusive culture and supporting the vision of its employees in line with the company’s strategic objectives and principles. She provides a breadth of knowledge from a variety of industries, such as business services, energy, and telecommunications.
She worked as an Associate Coach at Randstad RiseSmart, a global outplacement company, and as Chief Talent & Strategy Officer at Accelerate Leadership Ltd. before joining 9Mobile. She was also the HR Director for Anglophone West Africa at Schneider Electric, the General Manager for HR & Administration at Pan African International Group, the Country Head for Human Resources at Siemens Nigeria, the HR Manager/Business Partner at MTN Nigeria Communications, and the Head of People Management at Restral Consulting.

Tunde-Ajala has made a name for herself as a reliable consultant to corporate executives, offering insightful HR advice to develop high-performing cultures. She has created leadership pipelines, spearheaded HR changes, and put creative HR tactics into practice that have improved organizational efficacy.

Tunde-Ajala will directly report to the CEO in her capacity as CHRO and she will be instrumental in coordinating human capital plans with the organization’s overarching strategic objectives.
