Tony Elumelu To Co-chair The New African Summit In Saudi Arabia

At the forthcoming eighth edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Tony Elumelu, the founder of The Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) and chairman of Heirs Holdings and United Bank for Africa (UBA), will co-chair the New African Summit.

With the theme “Infinite Horizons,” FII will bring together some of the most powerful leaders in the world to show how investment can act as a catalyst for a successful and sustainable future, expanding the realm of human potential. Elumelu contributes his viewpoint as a corporate executive and philanthropist.

One of the leading voices on Africa’s transformation agenda, Mr. Elume­lu, will promote youth investment and entrepreneurship as ways to boost the continent’s economic development and prosperity.

Mr. Elumelu will participate in the Opening Plenary session on October 29 called “Board of Changemakers: Banking & Investment,” where he will debate whether visionary leaders establish new economic structures that welcome innovation.
