To improve ad effectiveness and draw in more small businesses, X (formerly Twitter) has launched an enhanced version of its Ads platform.
To help small and medium-sized businesses maximize their profitability, the platform uses AI technology to improve targeting precision and gives advertisers the flexibility to select their preferred cost per action. Features including bid optimization for businesses’ desired return on investment, automatic tracking pixel creation for improved measurement, support for one-click direct messages, and AI-driven “Auto Targeting” that optimizes ad delivery using internal interaction data are all included in the redesigned platform.
Through a social media post available to BrandSpur digital news platform, the company said that the: “Entirely new X Ads platform” is now accessible to “Select new advertisers.”
These upgrades are in line with current trends among social media rivals who have been emphasizing AI-powered systems for automated ad generation, targeting, and search capabilities. With the help of these tools, advertisers may more effectively reach new audiences and optimize ad spend while requiring less manual labor.
The announcement coincides with X’s efforts to increase ad revenue, which has fallen by roughly 80% since Elon Musk’s 2022 acquisition, leading to a substantial decline in brand equity. With 26% of global marketers preparing to cut back on X’s ad expenditure because of waning trust from major advertisers, the platform is now focusing on smaller businesses to restore its reputation.
