Airtel Nigeria, Google Partners To Join YouTube With Airtel Smart Router For Subscriber’s Satisfaction

The partnership, which was announced during a signing ceremony accessed by BrandSpur telecom and Iat news, at the telecom behemoth’s Lagos headquarters, incorporates YouTube, the biggest video platform in the world, into the innovative ‘Airtel Smart Router’ to provide subscribers nationwide with a flawless internet connection and entertainment experiences.

Continuing, as part of this cutting-edge update, the ‘Airtel Smart Router’ serves as both an internet router and a gadget that can transform analog television sets into smart TVs, allowing YouTube to be viewed on any kind of TV. More Nigerians will have access to top-notch entertainment thanks to the Smart Router’s operating system optimized for a flawless YouTube experience, a YouTube app, and a dedicated button on the remote control.

Chief Commercial Officer of Airtel Nigeria, Femi Oshinlaja, discussed the new relationship and emphasized its importance in revolutionizing digital entertainment in Nigerian households.

The innovative Airtel Smart Router, which costs N25,000 and comes with 30 days of unlimited bandwidth, makes it easier for the whole family to stream movies, football games, cartoons, music, and other audio-visual pleasures.
