
SIFAX Group has been acknowledged by the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) for its noteworthy contribution to Nigeria’s efforts to increase tax revenue and ensure compliance in 2024.
Mr. Kazeem Olanrewaju, Head of the Taxpayers Service Unit at FIRS’ Lagos Mainland West Medium Taxpayers Office, announced during an appreciation visit to SIFAX Group’s Lagos headquarters accessed by BrabndSpur national news stories that the company is now one of the Top 20 companies under FIRS’ jurisdiction, out of 300 assessed organisations.
According to Mr Olanrewaju, the visit is a reflection of FIRS’ customer-focused approach to recognising high-achieving businesses that have consistently shown diligence in reporting taxes on time throughout the year. During the visit, the agency gave SIFAX Group an official letter of commendation that was co-signed by Tax Controller E.F. George and Mr. Olanrewaju.
The letter commended SIFAX Group for their outstanding commitment, saying: “As the year comes to a close, it is with great pride and gratitude that we write to commend your company for being part of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) revenue collection success story for the year 2024. This milestone could not have been possible without your company’s unwavering dedication and exceptional support in the area of tax filing compliance.”
He further underlined that FIRS was able to reach its income goal for 2024 in large part because of SIFAX Group’s dedication to tax compliance. As the agency prepares for the upcoming fiscal year, he also urged the business to continue its excellent work.

The Director of Strategy and Operations, Mr Oliver Omajuwa, responded on behalf of SIFAX Group and conveyed appreciation for the honour. He restated the business’s dedication to FIRS and to advancing the socio-economic advancement of Nigeria.
