
With effect from February 2025, Mrs Uche Uzoebo has been named the new Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Shared Agent Network Expansion Facilities (SANEF) Limited.
Mrs. Ronke Kuye, the original CEO, is succeeded by Mrs. Uche Uzoebo. Under her direction, SANEF Limited grew and succeeded in fulfilling its primary mission of advancing and strengthening agent banking and financial inclusion. In her new position, Uzoebo contributes a wealth of experience, knowledge, and skill.
She was SANEF Limited’s Chief Distribution and Stakeholder Engagement Officer from the beginning until her appointment. She is credited with spearheading business, stakeholder, and strategic initiatives that have helped the company achieve its main goals through policy advocacy, agent expansion, account opening, product and service, technology solutions, financial literacy, capacity building, and awareness.
In her capacity as SANEF Limited’s Chief Distribution and Stakeholder Engagement Officer, Mrs Uzoebo also worked closely with government agencies, banks, financial service providers, regulatory bodies, non-governmental organisations, enterprise support groups, and the private sector to increase financial access points, digital financial services, economic and financial inclusion through agent networks, financial literacy, and cutting-edge technological systems.
In Nigeria, Mrs. Uzoebo is a well-known and enthusiastic specialist in inclusive finance, digital transformation, financial inclusion, and women’s empowerment. With more than 20 years of relevant experience in banking and financial services, she has made a name for herself as a thought leader and an ardent supporter of inclusive finance, women’s empowerment, financial literacy and advocacy, training, and dismantling economic obstacles. The development of digital financial services and the ecosystem’s financial and economic inclusiveness have been propelled by her strong business sense and leadership abilities.

Uzoebo has also given speeches at conferences about fintech and finance, as well as contributed to published publications, giving her a powerful voice in the advancement of digital payments and financial inclusion. Interventions in strategic management and policy are part of her practice engagements.
