
One of Africa’s most esteemed marketing leaders, Hannah Oyebanjo, will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2025 Women in Marketing and Communications Conference and Awards (WIMCA) in honour of her outstanding contributions to the development and professionalism of Nigeria’s integrated marketing communications sector.
As the CEO of the Republicom Group in Nigeria and the Managing Director of Redwood Consulting, she has established a stellar career spanning over thirty years in marketing, sales, advertising, and brand management. In addition, she serves as Principal Partner at Hannah & Associates Ltd., the company behind Silver Liners and Executive Diamonds Ladies Weekend Out, two innovative programs aimed at preparing more women for executive leadership positions and guiding younger professionals to take on more corporate responsibilities, and Lead Faculty at Redwood Academy.
Following Oyebanjo’s long-lasting influence on the marketing and communications ecosystem, she was recognised at WIMCA 2025. One of WIMCA’s highest honours, the Lifetime Achievement Award, is given to industry titans who have not only excelled but also devoted their professional lives to empowering others and furthering the cause of women in leadership. With an impressive background in marketing, she has held a number of high-level roles, such as Marketing Director at GlaxoSmithKline, a global pharmaceutical and healthcare corporation, and Marketing Director at Colgate Palmolive Nigeria.
Oyebanjo has been instrumental in the establishment of successful brands, the reversal of market share losses, and the substantial expansion of both domestic and international brands over the course of her career. She has gained respect in the industry for her proven ability to forge close bonds with customers, encourage innovation, and guide teams with a clear vision. She has played a significant role in influencing industry norms and policy direction outside of her corporate career.
For seven years, she was a member of the Advertising Standards Panel (ASP), a subcommittee of the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON) that reviews and approves advertising in Nigeria. Her time on the panel made a significant contribution to fortifying the nation’s ethical and regulatory framework for marketing communications. She is a registered member of several professional organizations, such as the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN), the Entrepreneur Organization (EO), the Institute of Strategic Studies, the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM UK), the Marketing Association of South Africa (MASA), ADVAN, the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), the Institute of Directors, and APCON.
Continuing, the doyen has also held a number of leadership positions within these organisations over the years, such as APCON, ADVAN, and the Entrepreneur Organisation, which has strengthened her standing as an industry mentor and thought leader. There is ample evidence of her dedication to mentoring and information exchange.
Having taught and facilitated sessions at organisations like the Lagos Business School (LBS), Nigeria Employers Consultative Association (NECA), Chartered Institute of Marketing, and Alphabet Media Academy, she is a highly sought-after public speaker and trainer. In Nigeria, she has also provided training to participants through the FATE Foundation, WIMBIZ, and other public and private sector programs. As a proud graduate of the University of Cape Town and the Lagos Business School, she continues to motivate professionals by working with mentoring programs like the LBS Alumni Program.

Furthering, she is a member of the John Maxwell Team, spends a significant amount of her time mentoring the upcoming generation of professionals. She is also a conference speaker, author, and leadership trainer. Her three books, Predictable Future, Careerpreneur, and Predictable Career (God in the Marketplace), offer insightful perspectives on leadership in the business sector and purpose-driven career development.
Several professional honours have been given to her in recognition of her excellence. She was honoured by APCON in 2022 as a Fellow of the Advertising Profession in Nigeria for her significant contributions to the growth and development of integrated marketing communications and advertising. In addition, she received the 2011 Marketing World Honour and Clients (Advertisers) Association of Nigeria Awards and is an Honorary Fellow of the Institute of Strategic Management, Nigeria.
Outside of the business world, Oyebanjo’s love for human development is still evident through the Predictable Future Foundation, a nonprofit she established to support girls’ education and self-determination. Her lifelong conviction that empowering and educating women is the first step towards sustainable development is reflected in the foundation’s commitment to meeting young girls’ basic educational needs and instilling values of integrity and character. She is currently a board member of multiple organisations in the ICT, education, marketing communications, and insurance sectors, where she continues to contribute her knowledge and strategic perspective to business expansion and change.
