Dufil Prima Foods, known for its popular Indomie brand, has extended its annual festive goodwill with a Christmas outreach aimed at supporting vulnerable groups across Lagos. The initiative is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to social inclusion, shared prosperity, and community welfare.
During the programme, Dufil Prima Foods visited schools, orphanages, and care homes, delivering thousands of food items to children, elderly residents, and persons living with disabilities. The effort forms part of the company’s wider tradition of charitable engagement, designed to ensure that no community members are left without support during the festive season.
Beneficiaries included Heart of Gold Hospices, Bethesda Home and School for the Blind, Holy Family Home for the Elderly, Modupe Cole Memorial Childcare, Heritage Home, and Little Saints Orphanage. At each location, the team distributed food supplies and shared messages of hope, solidarity, and encouragement with residents.
Brandspur reports that at Bethesda Home and School for the Blind, the company went further by donating cartons of Indomie alongside a cash contribution. Dufil Prima Foods also pledged to include some of the institution’s outstanding students in its 2026 scholarship programme, highlighting its focus on empowering talent irrespective of physical challenges.
The gesture was warmly received by community representatives. Olatunji Johnson, a Senior Special Educator at Bethesda, described the visit as more than a charitable act, calling it a message of inclusion and opportunity. At the Holy Family Home for the Elderly, Supervisor Elizabeth Ikeh said the outreach brought comfort and reassurance to residents during the festive period.
Temitope Ashiwaju, Group Corporate Communications and Events Manager at Dufil Prima Foods, said the initiative reflects the company’s core values of compassion and humanity. “Supporting the most vulnerable in our communities is at the heart of our mission. Our goal is to restore dignity and hope, not just provide nourishment,” she said.
Through this outreach, Dufil Prima Foods emphasised its role as a socially responsible organisation, demonstrating that its impact extends beyond products to meaningful community development.
