MasterChef Nigeria Season 1 will reach its climax on Sunday, July 19, 2026, as finalists Fads and Favy compete in the inaugural Grand Finale Cook-Down to determine the country’s first-ever MasterChef Nigeria champion.
After 13 weeks of intense culinary competition, the two finalists emerged from thousands of aspiring home cooks to secure places in the final showdown. Their performances will be judged by renowned chefs Chef Stone and Chef Eros, who will evaluate their creativity, technical ability and overall execution before naming the winner.
Since its debut in April, the cooking competition has grown into one of Nigeria’s major food and lifestyle television programmes, celebrating local cuisine while showcasing the talent of home-grown chefs, Brandspur Brand News reports.

The Grand Finale will air at 7:00 p.m. on Africa Magic Showcase and Africa Magic Family, with repeat broadcasts scheduled later in the week to give viewers another opportunity to watch the historic conclusion of the competition.
