Samsung Launches First U.S. Credit Card With Rewards And Samsung Wallet Integration In 2026

Samsung has introduced its first-ever consumer credit card in the United States, expanding its digital payments ecosystem with a new rewards-focused product designed for Galaxy users. Developed in partnership with Barclays and operating on the Visa network, the Samsung Galaxy Card is fully integrated into Samsung Wallet, giving customers access to financing options, cashback rewards and in-app account management from compatible Galaxy devices.

The launch marks a significant step in Samsung’s push to strengthen its financial services offerings by combining mobile payments, digital banking and consumer rewards within a single platform. Customers can use the card to finance purchases of Samsung smartphones, home appliances, televisions and other eligible products while earning cashback on everyday spending.

The card carries no annual fee and offers different reward levels depending on how it is used. Purchases made directly through Samsung in the United States qualify for the highest cashback rate, while transactions completed using Samsung Wallet, selected streaming subscriptions and general spending also earn rewards. New cardholders who meet the required spending threshold within the introductory period will receive a welcome cashback bonus. Brandspur Banking News Desk reports that cardholders will also enjoy a discount on Samsung’s VIP Advantage membership when paying with the new credit card.

Applications for the Samsung Galaxy Card open from July 22 through Samsung’s official U.S. website, with eligible consumers able to complete the process online.

Samsung said the new card is intended to make digital payments more convenient by allowing users to access, manage and use their credit account directly within Samsung Wallet, which already stores payment cards, digital identification, passes and digital keys.

For Barclays, the partnership expands its portfolio of co-branded financial products and supports its strategy of working with major global consumer brands to deliver embedded banking services. Visa, which powers the payment network, said the collaboration reflects growing consumer demand for payment solutions that are integrated into everyday digital experiences while maintaining global acceptance and security standards.

The launch also highlights increasing competition among technology companies seeking to build stronger financial ecosystems around their hardware and software platforms. By combining device financing, cashback incentives and digital wallet integration, Samsung is positioning the Galaxy Card as another tool to encourage customer loyalty while deepening engagement across its growing range of consumer products and services.
