Globacom has introduced a new brand campaign, “Never Settle For Less”, alongside a fresh lineup of telecom products designed to give subscribers more value from calls, data and digital services.
The telecommunications company unveiled the campaign and products at its corporate headquarters in Victoria Island, Lagos, as it marks its 23rd anniversary. The initiative positions the new campaign as a call on Nigerians to pursue bigger ambitions while making greater use of digital tools and services.
At the launch, Globacom representative Uche Ogwuda said digital services are increasingly central to how people improve their lives and pursue opportunities. Brandspur Brand News reports that the company is using the campaign to reinforce its focus on innovation and value as competition for telecom customers intensifies.
Among the products unveiled was an upgraded version of Glo Talkmasta “6 for 6”. Subscribers who use six minutes for calls will continue to receive six free call minutes, while the accompanying free data allocation has been increased from 50MB to 100MB.
Globacom also expanded its Welcome Bonus for new customers. Subscribers who purchase and activate a Glo SIM can now receive benefits valued at N2,100, comprising 20 minutes of calls to all networks, 2GB of data and a one-month GloTV Premium subscription.
The company has also launched its Magic Data Bundle, a data offer built around a guaranteed allocation plus an additional bonus. The bonus varies according to the applicable offer, with packages priced at N1,600 and N3,500 offering between 500MB and 12GB in additional data.
Customers can access the Magic Data packages through the Glo Café app or by dialling *312#.
The company has simultaneously revamped Glo Café, its self-service application, with a redesigned interface, additional security features and more payment options. A major addition is Gloria, an artificial-intelligence-powered voice and text assistant intended to help users find answers and identify suitable offers.
Globacom said the assistant supports English, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, French and Spanish. The redesigned app also includes promotional offers such as 100GB for first-time registration, a 100 per cent recharge bonus, selected data packages and an additional 10 per cent data allocation on qualifying bundles.
The company said the updated Glo Café app is available through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
The campaign launch also featured personal accounts from fashion entrepreneur Mai Atafo and former presidential spokesman Reuben Abati, who spoke about decisions that pushed them beyond familiar career paths and helped shape their professional journeys.
Abati also praised Globacom’s emphasis on innovation, describing it as an important driver across sectors including technology, business and entertainment.
With the “Never Settle For Less” campaign and its latest product upgrades, Globacom is seeking to turn its anniversary milestone into a broader push around customer value, digital adoption and the use of telecommunications services to support Nigerians’ everyday ambitions.
