Nigerian comedian Bovi Ugboma will wrap up his 2026 world tour with two performances in Nigeria this October, following a run of sold-out shows in the United Kingdom and Canada.
The comedian’s “Bovi: Guilty as Charged” tour will make its Nigerian return in Benin City on October 1 before ending with a final performance at the Convention Centre, Eko Hotel, Lagos, on October 11.
Brandspur Brand News reports that the homecoming dates follow an international tour that began in the United Kingdom during Easter, where Bovi performed to a sold-out audience at Indigo at The O2 in London.
He subsequently took the show to Canada for a six-city run, including performances in Toronto, Calgary and Edmonton. All six Canadian dates were sold out, extending the international reach of the latest production.
The two Nigerian performances will now bring the tour back to Bovi’s home country, with Benin City opening the final stretch before Lagos hosts the closing show.
The Lagos performance will also introduce a different ticketing arrangement for Bovi’s live shows. Every ticket will come with a designated seat, while audience members will be able to select their preferred seats during the purchasing process.
For Nigerian fans who did not attend the international dates, the October performances will provide an opportunity to experience the material Bovi has taken across the UK and Canada during the year.
Bovi has spent nearly two decades building a career across stand-up comedy, television and film. His comedy is particularly associated with observational storytelling, drawing material from relationships, social behaviour, popular culture and everyday experiences.
Previous productions, including “Bovi: Man on Fire” and “Naughty by Nature,” have formed part of his growth from Nigeria’s comedy circuit into international live performances.
The “Guilty as Charged” tour continues that trajectory, but its final dates bring the comedian back to Nigerian audiences after months on the international stage.
Tickets for the Benin City and Lagos performances are available through the tour’s official ticketing platform.
