Coca-Cola is planning to invest $10 billion across its United States operations between 2026 and 2030, with its bottling and distribution network playing a central role in the expansion.
The investment will support infrastructure projects in states including California, Colorado, Alabama and New York, alongside initiatives the beverage company had previously announced.
Brandspur Brand News reports that Coca-Cola’s $10 billion figure covers the wider US system rather than spending by the company alone. Chief Financial Officer John Murphy said the projection also includes investments made by independent bottling partners.
That structure reflects the scale of Coca-Cola’s business network in the US, where manufacturing, bottling, distribution and supply activities involve both the company and its partners.
Coca-Cola has separately projected capital expenditure of about $2.2 billion for its 2026 financial year, providing further context for the resources being committed to its operations.
The company is also highlighting the broader economic contribution generated by its US network. A study independently commissioned by Coca-Cola and reported by Reuters estimated that the company and its bottling partners contributed about $85 billion to US gross domestic product in a single year.
The assessment also estimated that the wider Coca-Cola system supported nearly one million jobs across the country.

Beyond employment and production, the network spent about $37 billion with US suppliers, according to the study, extending the economic activity generated by Coca-Cola into its broader supply chain.
Community programmes have also formed part of the company’s reported US contribution. Coca-Cola said its system, together with the Coca-Cola Foundation and Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation, contributed $177 million to community initiatives.
The latest assessment is the second economic impact study commissioned by Coca-Cola. The first, published in September 2023, examined the company’s contribution to the US economy in 2022.
The new investment programme will run through 2030 and encompasses more than Coca-Cola’s own facilities. Its bottling partners, suppliers and wider distribution infrastructure will remain important components of the company’s US operations.
The planned spending therefore places physical infrastructure and the wider business ecosystem at the centre of Coca-Cola’s next phase of expansion in the US, while the economic impact figures provide an indication of the activity connected to its operations and bottling network.
