FrieslandCampina WAMCO Pledges Better Consumer Experience for Peak, Three Crowns and Other Milk Brands

FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria Plc, the dairy company behind Peak, Three Crowns, Coast, Olympic and Nunu Milk, has pledged to strengthen its focus on consumer needs, feedback and service delivery as it seeks to maintain the relevance of its brands to Nigerian households.

The company restated its commitment during its 2026 Customer Service Week celebration, held at its head office under the theme “The Extra Mile”. The initiative focused on the need to go beyond resolving complaints and answering enquiries to building lasting relationships with consumers.

According to the Brandspur Brand News Desk, FrieslandCampina WAMCO views consumer care as a responsibility that extends across its business, from the quality of its dairy products to the way it responds to the changing expectations of customers.

Customer Care Manager, Odukoya Oluwatobi, said interactions with consumers provide opportunities for the company to learn and improve. He stressed the importance of listening to feedback and using the insights gathered to ensure the business continues to respond to the needs of Nigerian families.

The celebration also brought employees together to examine how their individual responsibilities contribute to the customer experience. Jide Sipe, Group Head of Brand Transformation and Digital Marketing at Bank of Industry, addressed the gathering, emphasising that going the extra mile is ultimately about the level of care an organisation demonstrates, rather than the effort it claims to make.

Marketing Director Maureen Ifada also urged employees to move beyond simply meeting expectations and embrace higher standards in their work. Her message reinforced the company’s call for continuous improvement and greater attention to consumer needs across its operations.

For a company whose brands feature in the daily routines of many Nigerian households, consumer trust depends on more than product availability. Responsiveness, consistent quality and the willingness to act on customer concerns can all influence how people experience a brand and whether they continue to choose it.

FrieslandCampina WAMCO said its approach to customer care forms part of its broader purpose of providing quality dairy nutrition and supporting healthier, better-nourished communities. It intends to keep gathering consumer insights and using them to improve its products and services as household needs and preferences evolve.

The company’s Customer Service Week message therefore places the emphasis on making consumer care an everyday business practice, rather than an activity limited to an annual celebration.
