Ashley St. Clair Claims Elon Musk Cut Child Support From $100,000 To $20,000

Elon Musk allegedly reduced his monthly child support payments to $20,000 from an initial $100,000 after Ashley St. Clair publicly revealed that she had given birth to his son, according to claims made in a new documentary about the billionaire.

St. Clair, 28, made the allegations in the documentary Musk, claiming that she was initially offered $15 million and monthly payments of $100,000 in exchange for signing a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) that would keep their relationship secret.

She said she rejected the offer because she did not want their son, Romulus, to “feel like he’s a secret”.

According to St. Clair, the monthly payments subsequently fell to $40,000 after she refused to sign the agreement, before dropping again to $20,000 following her public announcement of the child’s birth in February 2025.

The former conservative influencer also claimed that Musk’s attitude towards her changed after she gave birth, saying he had been kind to her before the arrival of their son.

St. Clair said their relationship began in 2023 after Musk repeatedly interacted with her on X, formerly Twitter. She alleged that he encouraged her to have more children and presented himself as a good father.

She further claimed that other women contacted her about Musk allegedly messaging them and discussing having children with them.

The allegations come amid an ongoing custody dispute between St. Clair and Musk over Romulus. Her legal team has claimed that the dispute contributed to a substantial reduction in financial support, leaving her facing eviction.

Musk has previously said he paid St. Clair $2.5 million and stated that he was “not against finding out” whether he was the child’s father.

A representative for Musk had not immediately responded to Page Six’s request for comment on the allegations.

The claims presented in the documentary have not been independently established by the information provided.
