inDrive has rewarded one of its drivers, Felicity Eseke, with a brand-new Wuling XC250 2025 after her remarkable story of supporting her family and putting all five of her children through school through earnings from the platform.
The car was presented to Eseke at Ikeja City Mall, Lagos, on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, during a ceremony attended by content creator Akinyemi Oluwaseun, popularly known as Asherkine, as well as fellow inDrive drivers and well-wishers.
Brandspur Brand News gathered that Eseke’s story came to the attention of inDrive after her daughter, Louisa Eseke, contacted the mobility platform to highlight her mother’s years of sacrifice, dedication to her family and commitment to her work.
Eseke has been driving with inDrive for five years and has completed more than 2,766 trips on the platform during that period.
Beyond the figures, her journey has been marked by the responsibility of raising five children while using driving as a means of keeping her household going and ensuring her children remained in school.
For Eseke, the job became more than a way to earn an income. It provided the means to pursue a better future for her children, with each day on the road contributing to the education and welfare of her family.
Timothy Oladimeji, country manager of inDrive Nigeria, said the recognition was intended to celebrate the people behind the thousands of journeys completed through the platform.
He described Eseke’s experience as an example of the resilience and determination demonstrated by drivers who rely on their work to provide for their families.
Oladimeji said the company wanted to recognise the personal stories behind its drivers and acknowledge the sacrifices many make while working to improve the lives of their loved ones.
Eseke expressed gratitude to inDrive for the award and for providing her with an opportunity to earn a livelihood over the years.
She described the vehicle as a significant reward for the effort and sacrifices that have defined her journey as a driver and mother.
