Consumers paid less to get Diesel in June, Automotive Gas Oil (Diesel) Price Watch reports released by the National Bureau of Statistics on Tuesday has shown.
“The average price paid by consumers for automotive gas oil (diesel) decreased by 0.34% month-on-month and 2.59% year-on-year to N204.97 in June 2018 from to N205.67 in May 2018.”

Other trends in the period under review showed that states in the North East and North West bore the brunt of increased diesel prices.
Taraba, Gombe, and Kebbi paid the highest for diesel at N255.12, N288.02, and N227.50 respectively. while states with the lowest average price of diesel were Abuja (N185.03), Adamawa (N180.00) and Nasarawa (N175.41).
