With the determination to register more residents of Lagos State in the on-going residency registration towards creating a reliable database of all residents of the State, the Lagos State Residents Registration Agency is set to embark on roadshows as part of its Publicity Strategy in all the three Senatorial areas of the State during the first quarter of this year.
The General Manager of the Agency, Mrs Olukemi Adelusi made the disclosure at a meeting with management staff of the Agency, saying that the roadshow will involve driving around the town and using Public Address system to educate the residents of the State about what LASRRA stands for and its objectives.
She revealed that in the same token, flyers and brochures shall be distributed to the residents of Lagos State to create awareness about the Agency and yield increased registration of residents who are yet to register with LASRRA.
Adelusi said that the publicity campaign is expected to end with additional registration of a large number of individuals who had hitherto neglected calls by the Agency, adding that the LASRRA data is a vital tool that aids government’s planning of resources and infrastructure for residents of Lagos State.
