Access and Diamond Bank teamed up to inspire over 2000 women at its Annual International Women’s Day conference.

The event, which is targeted at female entrepreneurs and women in business, had a line of impactful speakers and panel discussions that run along the United Nations theme of Think Equal, Build Smart and Innovate for Change.

The guests also had opportunities to network as there was a speed networking segment just before the event started proper and full-on networking at the end of the events.

One of the guest speakers, British Deputy High Commissioner, Laure Beaufils during her speech reminded ladies that they have the right to be whatever they choose to be. She also enjoined the world to teach girls how to be career oriented.

“It’s not enough to comment on how pretty our daughter’s dresses are or how good they look, we should teach our daughters to have goals and be career-oriented,” She said

The panel discussions moderated by Didi Akinyelure and Omilola Oshikoya had the likes of Tosin Durotoye, Adebola Adefila, Temie Giwa, Titi Osuntoki,  Chukwuka Monye, Patricia Nzolantima, Kofo Akinkugbe, Uloma Ike and Toyin Onigbanjo discuss the leveraging on finance for business growth and importance of innovation for women and their businesses.

At the end of the event, guests were treated to a beautiful after party with live performances by Falz.
