Famous Rice donates Palliative to Kwara State and communities

Hillcrest Agro-Allied Industries, producers of a premium Nigerian Rice brand, Famous Rice has made a donation of 1000 bags of rice to the Kwara State Government in order to ameliorate the conditions of the lockdown in the State.

The Managing Director of the Organisation, Mr Ayodele Alade handed over the bags of the premium rice brand to the Deputy Governor of the State, Mr Kayode Alabi. He noted that the donation came as a palliative for citizens of Kwara State who could not access food easily.

According to Mr Alade, “we are excited to be giving back to Kwara State at this time in history. As an organization that has the interest of the people in mind, we are ready to support the Kwara State government, the people of Offa and Ajase-Ipo with a total of 1,400 bags.”

While appreciating the good works of the company, the Deputy Governor of Kwara State, Mr Kayode Alabi said, “we are glad to receive this palliative from Hillcrest Agro-Allied Industries. We urge other corporate organizations to imitate this noble cause in order to alleviate the pains of the populace at this time in history.”

Similarly, the brand also donated 300 bags of Famous Rice to the people of Offa at the Olofa of Offa’s palace, His Royal Majesty, Oba Mufutau Muhammed Oloyede Gbadamosi, Okikiola Ajagungbade I Esuwoye II while another 100 bags were donated to the people of Ajasse-Ipo at the Olupo of Ajasse-Ipo, HRM, Oba Sikiru Sanni Woleola II, all in Kwara State.
