The total capacity of BUA Foods Plc to produce pasta will reach 900,000 MT when it adds 400,000 MT per year to its current capacity.

This action comes after an agreement was signed with FAVA, leading producer of pasta equipment in Italy.

Furthermore, BUA Foods and Martini, both of Italy, have an agreement for cutting-edge packaging machinery.

The company’s strategic focus on food security is aligned with this expansion, which involves partnering with Cukurova Silo from Turkiye to increase the company’s grain storage capacity by 100,000 tonnes.

BUA Foods’ Chairman, Abdul Samad Rabiu, highlighted that these initiatives will not only improve product availability but also introduce innovations, strengthen food supply chains, and create jobs.

The company is also expanding its flour milling capacity to 2.5 million MT per year through a separate agreement with IMAS, a Turkish milling equipment firm.
