
Segun Ogunleye has been appointed as the Head of Marketing, Africa Partner Markets by Diageo, a world leader in the beverage alcohol industry.
Ogunleye also serves as the Beer Lead for South, West, and Central Africa. At PepsiCo Bottler (SBC) in Nigeria, he played a key role in promoting brand growth, innovation, and category expansion. He brings more than ten years of innovative marketing leadership to the table.
During his time at SBC, he led strategic marketing campaigns for the Energy, Malt, Isotonic, and Carbonated Soft Drinks (CSD) categories. He also ventured into the Home & Personal Care industry.
As he considered his change, he was appreciative of his experience with SBC and the connections he had made over the years. I am incredibly excited to start this new chapter with Diageo. I had the chance to lead recognisable businesses and spearhead ground-breaking ideas during my amazing educational journey at SBC. I am incredibly grateful to my SBC family, partners, and stakeholders for their support, which has helped me grow.
He will be in charge of developing and carrying out marketing plans in his new position at Diageo in order to spur expansion in important African regions. To uphold Diageo’s tradition of celebrating life every day, wherever, he will collaborate closely with teams to create engaging brand experiences that appeal to customers.
