Australia, Brazil, Canada, India, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, and the United Kingdom are among the nations where ChatGPT Pro customers will be able to access OpenAI’s Operator tool.

The European Union, Switzerland, Norway, Liechtenstein, and Iceland, however, are still unable to access it. Designed to manage activities including ticket booking, restaurant reservations, expense report filing, and online shopping, this Operator tool was introduced in the United States in January. Currently, the feature is only available through a special homepage and is only available to those who have purchased the $200/month ChatGPT Pro subscription.

BrandSpur digital news platform reports that in the future, OpenAI intends to incorporate Operator into every ChatGPT client. Users can monitor and control the tool’s behaviour as needed because it runs in a separate browser window. With big tech companies creating comparable technologies, the AI-powered automation market is becoming increasingly competitive.

Anthropic offers access via an API, Google’s agent is currently restricted to a waitlist, and Rabbit’s action model is only available to users of its specific gadget.

Operator will be made available in other regions where it is now unavailable, according to OpenAI’s assurances to users. “We’ll keep you informed as we continue to work on making Operator available in the EU, Switzerland, Norway, Liechtenstein, and Iceland.” OpenAI said.
