
AXA Mansard Investment has unveiled a dynamic speed-mentoring initiative designed to enhance investment knowledge and financial literacy among young professional women across Nigeria.
The programme forms part of the Company’s International Women’s Day celebrations under the theme, “Acting For Her Progress,” bringing together accomplished female professionals from diverse industries to dedicate at least two hours mentoring emerging women leaders seeking financial growth opportunities.
Brandspur Banking News Desk reports that the mentorship initiative features prominent industry figures, including Omolara Ismail, Executive Director, Lagos & South, Jaiz Bank; Ifedayo Durosimi Etti, Founder of Herconomy; Bolu Essien, Filmmaker and Corporate Marketing Professional; Fiona Uwagwu, Head of Social and Content, Ogilvy UK; as well as senior executives from AXA Mansard, including Omowunmi Mabel Adewusi, General Counsel & HR Director; Ngozi Ola Israel, Chief Financial Officer; Jumoke Odunlami, Chief Distribution Officer; Adebola Surakat, Chief Marketing Officer; and Abisola Nwoboshi, Head of Life Business.
Deji Tunde-Anjous, CEO of AXA Mansard Investment, highlighted that the programme reinforces the company’s dedication to inclusive financial empowerment. “Empowering women strengthens society as a whole. By closing gaps in financial literacy, we enable women to drive growth for themselves and their communities,” he said.
Tunde-Anjous added that the programme also addresses gender balance and demystifies common myths around investment risks by providing direct access to experienced women who have successfully navigated similar financial journeys.
