FirstBank is set to host a new edition of its SMEConnect Webinar on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, with a focus on helping Nigerian entrepreneurs improve sales, attract customers and grow revenue.
The virtual session, themed “The SME Growth Blueprint: Practical Sales Strategies to Win Customers and Boost Revenue,” will expose business owners to approaches for improving brand visibility, customer acquisition, sales conversion and customer retention.
Brandspur Banking News Desk reports that the webinar forms part of FirstBank’s SMEConnect initiative, a capacity-building platform through which the bank provides entrepreneurs with business knowledge, market insights and information about financial and advisory solutions available to small and medium-sized enterprises.
The session will bring together business founders and banking professionals, including Helen Mojisola Ijaola, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bags Warehouse, and Onome Gbenga-Adewara, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Mamalicious Products Nigeria.
Olusola Ogunsakin, Group Head, Retail Banking Group at FirstBank, will also participate, while Helen A. Willie, Head of SME Banking at FirstBank, will host the webinar. Olajumoke Moyo-Ladipo, Team Lead, SME Engagement and Advisory, will moderate the discussion.
FirstBank said the programme is designed to address a practical challenge facing many small businesses: converting promising products and services into sustainable sales and revenue.
Chuma Ezirim, Group Executive, e-Business and Retail Products at FirstBank, said business growth depends on the ability to create value, attract customers and turn opportunities into recurring revenue.
According to the bank, bringing entrepreneurs who have successfully built businesses into the conversation will allow participants to gain practical insights that can be applied to their own operations.
The webinar also extends FirstBank’s broader support for small businesses through SME loans, digital banking services and advisory solutions aimed at helping entrepreneurs formalise their operations, expand and reach new markets.
For participating entrepreneurs, the September session will focus particularly on turning customer interest into measurable business growth at a time when effective sales strategies remain critical to sustaining small businesses in a competitive market.
Registration for the SMEConnect Webinar is open to interested participants ahead of the September 9 session.
