Apple has expanded its iCloud+ offering in Nigeria, giving subscribers access to Apple TV and Apple Arcade as part of their existing paid plans without an additional charge.
The expansion, announced on September 15, 2026, is part of Apple’s rollout of the enhanced iCloud+ service across more than 100 countries and regions. It also marks the first time Apple TV has been made available to users in Nigeria.
Brandspur Brand News reports that Nigerian subscribers will retain the core iCloud+ features for storing, backing up and sharing files across Apple devices, while gaining access to additional entertainment services through the same subscription.
The iCloud+ plan starts at N1,300 per month for 50GB of storage in Nigeria, with higher storage options available. Apple said the expanded benefits would be introduced in stages through the end of September.
For subscribers, the addition of Apple TV brings access to Apple’s original films and television productions, including Ted Lasso, The Studio, Severance, Pluribus, CODA and F1. The content can be accessed across supported Apple devices and compatible smart TVs and gaming consoles.
The expanded package also introduces Apple Arcade, giving subscribers access to more than 200 games. The catalogue includes titles such as Football Manager 26 Touch, NBA 2K26 Arcade Edition, Madden NFL 27 Arcade Edition, Hello Kitty Island Adventure, Sneaky Sasquatch, Angry Birds Reloaded and Block Blast+.
Apple Arcade’s package includes ad free gaming, no in app purchases and the ability to play games offline.
Apple is also adding Apple Music Select to the Nigerian iCloud+ offering. The service provides ad free stations programmed by Apple Music, with selections covering areas including regional music, popular songs and music from the 1980s and 1990s.

The changes will also affect customers who already pay separately for Apple TV or Apple Arcade. Apple said their standalone subscriptions will be cancelled, with continued access provided through their iCloud+ plans.
Existing Apple Arcade users will retain their game progress and saved data, meaning the transition to the bundled service will not require them to start their games again.
Family Sharing further extends the package, allowing subscribers to share their iCloud+ benefits with up to five family members.
The move reflects Apple’s broader push to combine its digital services within its cloud storage ecosystem, giving subscribers access to storage alongside entertainment and gaming services through a single monthly payment.
For Nigerian users, the most immediate change is that Apple TV and Apple Arcade are being added to the iCloud+ package while the starting monthly price remains N1,300, potentially giving existing subscribers access to more services without an increase to that entry level subscription price.
