During Global Appreciation Week, MTN Nigeria celebrated its employees in all divisions by holding its first-ever “Y’ello Xperience.” This event, which was organised to honour the labour force’s commitment and hard work, was jam-packed with interesting activities, such as meet-and-greet sessions and thought-provoking lectures.
Y’ello Xperience, with the theme “Elevate Your Everest: Cultivating Resilience & Grit for Peak Performance,” was created as a forum for staff members to exchange ideas and learn insightful information that would help them achieve their professional and personal development objectives, BrandSpur telecom and IT news reports.
The keynote address given by Ehibhanre Hanson Isoa, a Sales and Trade Development (Core West) representative, was the event’s highlight. Isoa encouraged the audience to keep moving forward by emphasising, from personal experience, the vital role resilience plays in overcoming obstacles and sustaining momentum towards success.
Following an interactive Q&A session where other staff members took advantage of the chance to share their thoughts, the session concluded with a panel discussion featuring additional perspectives on the theme from Michael Adeleye, a Business Intelligence Analyst; Nnenna Chijioke-Udeze, Senior Lead, Sales and Trade Development, Awka; and Uchendu Uchendu, a Radio Frequency Optimisation Engineer.

We believe in cultivating resilience, not just in the workplace but in life, to help them rise above any challenge,” stated, Chief Human Resources Officer of MTN Nigeria Esther Akinnukawe, while expressing her excitement.
However, MTN is establishing a high bar for employee appreciation and making sure that its staff has the emotional intelligence and resources necessary for both professional and personal development. This has now been verified as an annual tradition.
